Radically Raw Friday...Food Alchemy in Action

It's "Radically Raw Friday", here @ The Desoto Oceanview Inn, which means I got to put on my alchemist hat again and whip up good eats from what feels like a wing and a prayer some times, but manages to come out unique and tasty and fun for the guests to talk about. 

Today's delights began with Sweet & Savory Tortes. My Savory Torte starts with my Raw Confetti Focaccia Bread topped with Hemp Basil Pesto Cheese and then adorned with marinated veggies and a Kalamata tapenade. The Sweet Torte started off with my Almond Goji Berry Toast made with Cacao for a subtle sweet chocolate crust, topped off with an Avocado Banana Cacao Pudding sweetened only with dates! I decorated the Sweet Torte with blueberries, a cherry glaze and the cacao nibs, because you just cannot have enough chocolate for breakfast! And yet it's just fruits, seeds and nuts! Crazy, huh? Rethinking breakfast and the way we eat is certainly my destiny! 


Delicious, nutritious, organic and tasty.  What more could you ask for?
