It's "Radically Raw Friday" here again @ The Desoto Ocean View Inn in North Hollywood, FL. Every Friday we offer a completely raw breakfast for our guests, a nutrient-rich menu designed to delight the tastebuds, satisfy the belly and joyify the cells. As with all our menus, this one is all organic, gluten-free and dairy-free.



In honor of another spectacular seaside day here, we started off with a couple of Mexican-style raw frittatas...a composition of fresh-made raw pine nut cheese, overlaid with guacamole, and topped off with a Kalamata tapenade, salsa & cilantro, all on a raw herb focaccia bread. A veritable symphony of savory flavors in the mouth!



For the sweet menu item, this week I made a Banana Coconut Cream Pie with a Triple Berry Topping, all raw, organic, gluten-free and dairy-free. Another delightful taste sensation, full of 
bursting goodness!




For our granola today I made a Buckwheat & Chia Seed Muesli with goji berries, served with Raw Almond Milk. The buckwheat is nice and crunchy while the fruit and seeds plump up to burst with flavor in every mouthful! Our juice today was a Watermelon Limeade with Mint, a light, refreshing tonic, which paired well with the main entree.
